Lebara - data cap

Dear All,

Might seem a stupid question but when you reach your data cap, for example  I have a 5Gb data bundle,  will your data use stop or will Lebara automatically charge you for any data you use above 5Gb. Ideally I want a data cap and the choice of paying more for extra data rather than automatically being billed so there are no surprises at the end of the month!

Thanks all for you help in advance!

I ran out of data the other month with Lebara (3gb limit) and it immedately stopped allowing access to the internet until I went into the account & topped up

Make sure that auto top-up is set to "off" in your account.

You can set a data cap via your phone settings rather than rely on Lebara.

On Android you can set a warning at say 4.5Gb and a block at 4.9Gb

As long as auto topup is off you will only be allowed to use your bundle and any credit balance on your account.
