The following is an email summarising my daughter's problems with Ryanair in trying to obtain a voucher for a cancelled flight. She has tried the phone but can't get through, their customer services chat representatives are unhelpful, only working to a predesigned script. Isthere any way of getting them to sit up and take…

European Car Hire Cheaper From the USA than the UK
Am looking to book a hire car in France at short notice. Found a great deal in $ on Kayak which was half the price of all other quotes. When I went to book it with a UK address, it doubled the price. I have a US car licence and a US address but am living in the UK. Why is there such a price difference?

Cheap luxury airport transfers
Hi! I’m looking to book airport transfers from home to Liverpool airport... it’s a special trip so want to get a nice car. Any idea how to get a good idea? I’ve tried googling cheap airport transfers but it seems a bit of a lottery, so thought I’d see if there’s a tried and tested way? Thanks!

Beware - Goldcar Car Rentals Spain
I booked a trip to Alicante airport for myself and my girlfriend. We wanted to hire a rental car and ended up booking with a hire company called Goldcar. They seemed quite cheap and already have "all-inclusive" insurance included so it sounded good. I will make sure I never go near this company again. Firstly, when we…

Ryanair!
What can be done with Ryanair? They will not change a booking free or even give a voucher when our trip would mean having no travel insurance and the government say only essential travel. Of course will never even look at their website again.

Just few notes to warn those considering acquiring one: * Be warned that buying a Revolut card is about the same as booking a flight on Ryanair - upgrade options are very large and obvious, standard options are small and discreet. * VERY EASY to select upgrade by mistake @ £6.99/mth (offers lots of benefits, but none that…
