Didnt think this belonged in the compensation section as not asking about compo.
Anyway my niece was just sitting on the tarmac due to depart from gothenburg to gatwick but due to a technical issue at lgw they have cancelled the flight instead of delaying the flight until the situ gets fixed or diverting elsewhere.
So i appreciate thats its beyond norwegians control but are they obliged to put her up in a hotel etc as they are going to fly them to the uk tommorow.

Hi, my daughter had a Norwegian Airlines credit for a NYC/LON flight but they have now ceased their transatlantic routes. They have refused a refund, offering her European miles as an exchange, offering a bankruptcy type excuse. This is of no use to her as she lives in the USA.Please can anyone advise if she is legally entitled to a refund or an alternative flight and if so how should she pursue it.Tia0

You have jumped on to a very old thread sjbblues.
Here is a current thread with others in a similar position - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6232057/norwegian-long-haul-cancellation-cashpoint-exchange#latest
Unfortunately I don’t see a happy outcome for your daughter.1 -
Thank you, I will read the current thread.0
