Ramsdens Pre Paid Card

Hi, can anyone help me please?
For some time I've been using a Ramsdens card for trips abroad.
However due to covid and no travel it had expired. I went to my local branch and explained I would just like a new card and the balance transferred on to it.
Also at the same time, they had just announced several fees for inactive cards, or expired cards.
The lady at the branch advised me that it would probably be best if I applied to get my money refunded.
On March 26th I emailed Ramsdens card services asking for this, I even supplied a current bank statement which they had insisted on.
After countless calls and emails, today April 13th they refunded me money.
But I was disappointed at best as 2234.55 euros had got me £1779.48
I expected to lose some money, but not this much.
I had put £2k onto the card in the branch, I understand exchange rates, but I feel as though they've taken advantage here.
Is there anyone out there who can advise me if I can complain to anyone and if so, who.
Thanks In Advance

You can take your complaint to the Banking Ombudsman service.Best get a written breakdown from Ramsden on how they arrived at the amount refunded.
