2 month UK car hire - best deal?

I need to hire a car in London for 2- 3 months and I’m trying to figure out the best deal. Car leasing sites seem to have a 2 year minimum and while I am a Zip car member a day trip seems to rack up to about £80 a day. I need to use this car 2 - 3 days a week for about 2 months. Any advice on how to get a decent deal would be very much appreciated. Thank you in advance!

There are short term lease companies such as Apex Car Rental.
Also, the large car hire companies also offer extended hire rates.
Not recommending any company, merely advising options.

autoeurope, rentalcars, ryanair, avis long-term can all produce very good rates at times.

did you get sorted in the end? I am in the same situation as you were, wanting something short term while I consider my options.
