Compensation for delay due to fuel leak
Has anyone here successfully received EU261 compensation for a delay due to a fuel leak - a technical issue that I understand is common on Boeing aircraft. As I understand it, a recent case in Denmark establishes that airlines are liable to compensate in these instances, but want to see what people's actual experience is:

One claim, Three or even six?
Just about to start on the process to make a claim for compensation for a nightmare journey which really took the shine off of a recent trip to the USA. My first flight (AC857 London - Toronto) was delayed by 1 hour, which made me miss my connection in Toronto. I was rebooked on the next…

Money Moral Dilemma: Should I share my flight delay compensation?
This week's MoneySaver who wants advice asks... I paid for myself, my boyfriend and two friends to go on holiday, costing me over £3,000. We suffered a 4-hour flight delay for which I've received £1,300+ in compensation. They assumed I'd share it with them, should I? Unfortunately the MSE team can't always answer money…

Multiple reasons
I'm wondering how a court would interpret the regulations where multiple reasons exist for the delay. In our case there was an initial delay caused by waiting for a landing slot due to fog of 4 hours or so. Subsequent to that we could not leave because the engines could not be started: we missed our slot and whilst waiting…
