I don`t have a smartphone up & running & my camera-desktop PC connection has failed, the problem is within the PC gubbins. No way I want to provide a poxy company with my mug shot, private…

Selling some unwanted/sealed Minoxidil (options?)
Hi, strange question I know but i bought some Kirkland Minoxidil (six months supply still within expiry date for the entire 6 months) around November last year. And basically decided that i was too far gone for it to make a difference, and now the stuff is just sitting there mocking me... I initially searched on eBay and…

Yes sold my old iPhone on EBay and was happy watching the bid gradually climb up and up over the week, eventually finishing in an exiting last minute flurry at £400 odd pounds - excellent no fees to pay either ! Only problem is that now I cannot bring myself to send it,I did intend to ,otherwise wouldn’t have spent so long…

Ebay holding private sellers funds until proof of delivery from 4th Feb, 2025
From 4th Feb, 2025, Ebay will be holding on to all private sellers funds until an item is deemed delivered. Part of the T&C's update also states that private sellers will have to buy postage via Ebay only...no more paying at the post office (it states Q1 2025 for that but I'd be sure it would be implemented at the same…

Info printed on Royal Mail Tracked 48 return label
Not sure if this is the right board or not, but before I return something using one of the above labels I'd like to know what the different numbers on the label mean because I want to reference them in a covering letter. For example, is the tracking number on there? If so, is it the number under the barcode in the top…

Where is Martin Lewis getting this info from?
The new eBay Buyer Protection fee - the guidance just released on this site states that 'A buyer protection fee isn't applied to items priced below 99p.' eBay have no knowledge of this exclusion, can somebody from MSE please provide a link to the source they're getting this from?

ebay closed a return too early and refusing to reopen it
Hi I bought a console sold as fully working. It arrived and was not only defective but was also loaded with a lot of 'jailbreak' firmware and pirated software. I opened a return. Seller ignored it so ebay stepped in after a few days and gave me to the 20th January to return it, I got the royal mail QR code as per usual and…

OnBuy
We've had a bit of talk about other marketplaces recently. I see reports that OnBuy is fast growing yet as a buyer or seller it never seems to appear anywhere for me. They did aggressively (in a marketing/calling way) try to get me on board a few years ago but it didn't seem like a good fit and wasn't particularly more…

Ebay - Royal Mail collection no longer an option?
I've just listed 2 items on Ebay and in the postage options there was no option for Royal Mail collection. I've used this in the past and found it very useful as I can't get out much.Has this option been removed now? Or is it not appearing for certain items? I'm selling a couple of shirts.

Now I'm confused about ebay fees - does free not always mean free?
I'd understood that for the last few months private sellers have paid no ebay fees either for listing or as final value fees, unless you add the optional extras like reserve prices, subtitles etc. I've listed a few items recently, the latest one was snapped up at a Buy It Now price by someone in the USA (paying £15 for the…

Commemorative coins
I have about 25 commemorative coins as collected by my late father. The type of thing you see advertised on TV or in Daily Mail. Are they worth anything? Any advice on how to sell them or even if that is possible? I know it will depend what they are but assuming there are no very rare/ valuable coins.

Buying a collection in person item
I'm tempted to bid (about £90) on a child's bike, marked as collection in person. The photo is not that detailed and the description just says 'used'. If I won the item, would I have to pay for it before going to see it? I assume it would be functional, but if it was rusty, scratched etc, would I be able to reject it, and…
