Is it possible to drop off at the GSP ?

Is it possible to drop off parcels at the Ebay GSP ?

I only live around the corner and have  a heavy / expensive item which I would rather drop off myself than pay for a courier - the courier drop off point is further way than the GSP .

thanks

Have you already got the gsp reference number?

If it's a simple delivery item you'll have to purchase the postage label to get the reference number anyway.

I wouldn’t have thought so as you wouldn’t have tracking showing delivery and receipt at the hub.

Once it's scanned at the gsp hub that shoes up on the tracking as 'delivered'. Or, at least it did before simple delivery.

The gsp was one of the few places I was happy to send stuff to untracked (before sd) as I never had any inr claims!

The obvious question is, how do they scan it at the gsp hub?
If it's a simple delivery sale I don't think you can get the reference number without generating (and paying for) the delivery label and if you are doing that you may as well just post it and get the extra protection from simple delivery.

That was my point. If it is dropped off by hand  what are they scanning to show they have received it? It’s just an unknown parcel with a GSP address , no QR code showing the relevant info to deal with sending it on. ‘Scan it’ implies some sort of QR code or barcode , not someone manually allocating a parcel to a certain transaction.

Like you I usually sent GSP items untracked , but there was still something to scan on delivery.
