Sell Similar reverting to Simple delivery
I've created a listing changing the simple delivery to custom postage options. If I try to list another item using the sell similar option all the postage reverts to simple delivery again. Is there a workaround for this?

Stolen ebay parcel
I have sold an item on ebay, the tracking says it has been delivered. The photo shows it dumped in the gateway at the end of a long drive. You can barely see the house in the distance. Buyer has contacted me to say they have not recived it and they think it has been stolen. I used Royal mail tracked 24. I did NOT specify…

Lucid ID & WEEE ID
Apparently we need these to sell to Germany and EPR FR for France, I am totally confused, is this for a lot of selling there or just one thing every couple of months. Might not be worth selling to those countries it seems a lot of faf. What do you do?

DHL - complaint
Sold an item on Ebay and despatched using DHL and paying for insurance as the item was c £150. It arrived completely damaged and wrecked. Had to make refund to buyer. Tried correspondence and claiming via DHL under the terms of the insurance . I got absolutely nowhere. Is there any time limit on these claims if I use Small…

Global Shipping Programme - parcel lost
I sold an item on ebay using the GSP - a buyer in the US won the auction; I sent the parcel to the hub in the UK, which was then sent on to the US. However it appears to have gone astray on the other side of the pond. The buyer hs understandably raised a case (he contacted me first, and I advised him to do so if he got no…

BPF & Postage Refunds
If a buyer purchases from 2 of my listings and I can post both items together for the same price then I refund one lot of postage. Firstly, I am assuming, if I send a partial refund of £10 (for any reason) then ebay will also refund the corresponding amount of the BPF? So the buyer would recive a £10.40 refund? Secondly,…

Seller not responding to emails
Hello, I recently ordered a dress on ‘the Cottagecore’ website. I went back on the webpage the next day to look at it again and it came up with a ‘404 page not found’ message. I emailed the seller to find out what was going on. They replied saying that the dress was sold out and they didn’t have enough material left to…

Maliciously Suspended - What Are My Rights ?
I believe I have been maliciously suspended by EBay’s Authentication Team to prevent me from making a complaint regarding their conduct. I have been a member for almost 15 years w/ an exemplary record as both a seller & buyer. In January they removed a jewellery cleaning kit from my buyer’s parcel without any prior…

Businesses sending from mainland UK to N. Ireland, changes from March 31 2025
I've not seen this mentioned here before. It's not applicable yet but my RM account just made me fill in a CN22 to send a parcel to N. Ireland. As I understand, if you don't use it from March 31st the parcel is unlikely to arrive and will be returned. It's just another Brexit bonus for businesses.…

Ebay buyer wants money back
I sold an Aga cooker for my Dad in mid-November. The listing said that my Dad had used it for 26 years and was selling it because he had air source heating put in and the Aga ran on oil, so he couldn't use it anymore. It was collected on the 15th November by the buyer. On the 10th January I received a message from the…

Bidding glitch
I attempted to bid on two items this evening, but on both occasions eBay threw up a system error message. The item had not reached the reserve price but edged up selling for the bid that had failed to make that reserve, so I assumed the glitch was caused by the seller doing something. Having failed to win that item I had a…

eBay Advanced/Custom postage options
Is there anyway to auto enable the above option? When creating new listings eBay is auto defaulting to 'simple options' and I have to spend time changing it to select the postage service I want.

Less Freepost since 'Buyers Protection Fee'.
Has anyone else noticed this? The buyers protection fee is on the item only so I am seeing more of the cheap item/expensive post listings to reduce the BP fee. This is going back to the time when final value fees were only charged on the item and we had a lot of 99p items with £20 postage.

Vintage and Collectables Roadshow
Can anyone give any feedback on this firm which distributes brochures, advertising these roadshows where apparently they buy things for cash?

Auction House Refused Refund
Hello All I have a small company in Scotland and we bought a vehicle from a auction company in England (not Ebay). Initially we bid on one vehicle them moved to another as the reserve was not met. The first vehicle had its reserved dropped last minute and I won the second. We had a small set to as I argued I the last…

Anyone used Haru app?
You send them clothing and shoes to sell, anything they don’t want they return to you. (The cash is upfront, you don’t have to wait for them to sell each item via their eBay shop.) They’ve paid me for accepted items, but have not returned my rejected items since January, and have not sent any meaningful updates when I…

Why is Ebay making cancellations too easy?
I have had 2 items cancelled this week. I packed and purchased postage in the evening. Next morning I get message to cancel! It is so annoying! Why does Ebay make it too easy to cancel. Ok, I am lucky that they were not posted otherwise the buyers would have found any excuse to return them.
