Best postal service for oversized item?

I am looking for a postal service for a Korg Microkey 61-key MIDI keyboard which I am selling on eBay. The package size will be approx 1m x 20cm x 25cm. Weight around 2.5Kg. Value around £80. Royal Mail would be ideal, as I have alot of Large Letter postage stamps which I could use, but their website doesn't seem to cater for anything larger than a Medium Parcel. Parcel2Go also don't offer any options.

Any recommendations?

Royal Mail large parcel up to 5kg would take that, prices from £11.35 for Express 48 and not much more for Express 24. I assume that it would be covered for up to £75 if that would be sufficient. I think Evri will take big parcels very cheaply (if you trust them enough to use them), but you may have trouble getting sufficient compensation cover with them.

Thanks for that - I guess they are calling it express48? For some reason that postage option is not available on eBay (although there are many other Royal Mail services listed)

If it's on eBay you can put in the weight and dimensions and then go with whatever eBay offers. The length is crucial for some services as many will not accept over 100cm - you need to be sure that you have accurate dimensions for the packed size. Something like this needs to be well packed to be confident it survives.

Your product dimension is 850mm so often it would be wise to try and ensure Max length of pacakge is under 1000mm. That is often the "cut off".
