TSB card blocked.
Good morning, I recently opened a tsb account and deposited some cash. Yesterday, after buying some items individually, my contactless and PIN didn't work. I suspect it's been blocked because over the last few days, I've made batch payments of small amounts to hit the cashback targets of 20 transactions per month.

Santander Select
Just had an email to learn that, apparently, I'm one of Santander's "most valued customers" (presumably because I've currently got 20 quid in my 123 Lite account, and they're very grateful) and so they're "upgrading" me to "Santander Select, our premier banking service".While it's very nice to be appreciated, I'd be even…

My son fell for an Authorised Push Payment scam via Revolut
On Saturday afternoon my son got a call from what he thought was RBS. The fraudsters convinced him to transfer £600 and £400 from his RBS current account to his Revolut account i.e. all the money he had. From his Revolut account, £750 was sent to Coinbase and £300 to Transak, which I think are both connected with…

How Quickly should Chaps payments reach your account?

Money disappeared from bank account
My daughter had quite a large sum of money paid into her bank account (Monzo) last Friday. She saw appear in her account and texted me to let me know it had arrived (as some of it is for a re-payment to me). When she looked on Saturday morning there was no sign of it and no record of it having been in her account. She…
