I tried to open a chase account today and they have come back and said I can’t open one but I’ve never had one before, they said to check credit reports but I’m surprised by this as I thought they didn’t do a hard check, anyone else experienced this?.

Downgrading Santander Edge current account
I was going to downgrade my Edge current account to Everday current account to avoid the £3 monthly fee ( not earning enough cashback to cover fee)Will i be keeping same card/pin/account number?
