Simple accounts aggregator?
Hi all, Can anyone recommend a decent no-thrills accounts aggregator? I just need to see my balances and transactions in a simple format. I don't need fancy graphics, balance projections or other gimmicks. I used Yodlee happily for many years, but haven't found a suitable replacement since it was wound-down. I've already…

Upgrading from Natwest Select to Rewards account?
I've had a Natwest Select account for around 17 years, which I don't want to close as the age of the account is a positive on my credit report. I'm thinking about upgrading it to the Rewards account as I've got a couple of direct debits and will be able to net £3 a month. The only thing giving me doubt is if it's worth…

Lloyds Refer a Friend
I noticed that Lloyds seem to have introduced a refer a friend offer giving each person £50. If the friend joins can they also switch an account and be eligible for the £200 bonus? I didn't see anything obvious in the T&C's suggesting that it couldn't.

Santander edge 3£ maintenance fee
I opened a SE account to get the introductory £175 so I also switched my account, set up 2 direct debits and paid £1500 into the account. I got the intro £175 and I have been charged £3/month from opening the account in may though October. They then stopped charging the fee. I am not earning enough cashback to justify the…

Santander free forever bank account changes
Just got a letter in the post that Santander are changing my business account to £9.99 a month. I've had it a very long time and remember Santander trying this move before only to be told they can't because the original sign up material pushed it as being free forever. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Transfer of house sale proceeds from Ireland to Uk
Hi we have sold a property in Ireland and need to transfer the proceeds from the lawyer in Euros to UK bank. I have been in contact with Key Currency and they offer a better rate than just getting money transferred straight into UK bank. Has anyone ever used them or does anyone have any advice they could offer about this…

Paylink
What is it? If you agree to let it have access to your bank account can it see all transactions and to whom? Can it see your standing orders and direct debits? Can it see linked credit card/savings accounts? How far back in your bank records can it go? Does it have any impact or is it recorded in your credit history? How…

TSB takeover by Santander. Better to switch now with incentive or wait for take-over?
I have an active, packaged current account with TSB (mobile phone and travel insurance plus car breakdown included for a fee). Should I switch to Santander's Edge account now, which is cheaper but with the same benefits, or will there be a bonus or similar paid to TSB account holders when Santander takes them over some…

Unknown bank account registered at my address?
Not sure if this is the right place to ask but anyone have any ideas on this? Wife and I moved into our current house in March 2025, last week we received a letter which was addressed correctly (as in it was our address) but not in either of our names, nor was it the surname of the previous owners who had lived there since…

club lloyds free benefits?
I wanted to get the free £250 and Disney+ (Standard with Ads) through a Club Lloyds account while avoiding the monthly fee, open a Club Lloyds Current Account, deposit £2,000+ per month, and activate the Disney+ benefit via the "Lifestyle Benefit" portal. I'm wondering if anyone has done it before? 1) I've never done…

PACKAGED ACCOUNT = PHONE NOT COVERED UNDER PHONE INSURANCE
The RBOS Reward Silver Account has an exclusion that is buried in the Ts and Cs that makes the package worthless to me and many others. They do not cover phones with a screen size of more than 7" so therefore do not cover Samsung Fold Phones. Ridiculous but true. Does anyone know if other packaged accounts have the same…

Chase £100 incentive
I've just got a message from Chase (who I already have current and savings accounts with, but the current account is not my main one). They're offering a £100 Amazon voucher if I make my Chase current account my main income account - i.e. pay my salary (min £1,500) in each month for two months. Either by using the…

Travel insurance with pre-existing med conditions
We have just changed our Nationwide Flex account to a FlexPlus account. It costs £216 a year but includes Worldwide travel Insurance. We have several medical conditions but the additional cover costs for that were £364 for full cover. Compared to regular Travel quotes this is very good - some insurers wouldn't look at us…

Windows 11 and Microsoft Money
New PC arriving with Windows 11 and looking to continue using Microsoft Money on it. Digging around online I see suggestions that both the Sunset Edition and the 2005 edition should run, but each one seems to create some problems some times. I know there are quite a few users of Money on here - any advice on which of the…
