Hi,

TSB has launched a new switch incentive campaign today rewarding those eligible with £200

Surprised at this, it doesn't seem very long since their last one, which I did.
I'm waiting for someone to offer a new, like this, that doesn't require DDs.
  • I've recently opened 3 current accounts in the last week for switching offers, and this might be the 4th. Hopefully that doesn't raise any red flags.

I am well p'eed off! I've accounts with 8 other banks, all in credit. Done some switches over time but not excessive, and never any problems. Now TSB have refused my application for a Spend & Save, no reason of course! I'm mystified and livid. Will try again in a few days time I guess, and take a close look at one or two questions to see if I can fathom out what they don't like.
The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....

Just FYI that you can also get an additional £30 for opening a Spend & Save account via Quidco, or £20 for opening via TCB

Does anybody have any experience or is there any history as to whether TSB forget or miss the fact that I have an incentive before ?

I’m tempted to give this one ago as I don’t have a TSB account currently and have moved home since I last had an incentive from them.
might be worth a go ??

Does the £1000 paid into the account need to remain there for any length of time?

There's nothing in the terms to specify, so no

TCB does do  "Highest Cashback Guarantee" for anyone that's interested, I took them up on on that when I switched in 2024, as like now only £20 with them

    Let's Be Careful Out There

Anyone know if the incentive will be paid for switching a single account into a new joint TSB account or does it have to be a joint into another joint account t?
