Found this:
Bank Account Switching | Switch Accounts | TSB BankCan I switch my joint account to TSB?
You can switch your joint Current Account from your old bank in to TSB providing that your new TSB Current Account is also a joint account. You can also switch your sole account into a joint account, however you can’t switch a joint account into a sole account.

Managed to switch to new TSB account last week. Completely unable to access my new account online or app as have not received "activation code", despite second request. Have had no confirmation from them that switch has been completed. Beginning to wish I hadn't bothered with this useless shower…

Am I free to make 5 debit payments once I have £1000 deposited in there, or will it need to be topped back up to £1000 before the 20th March deadline?
Does the £50 bonus require that £2000 is deposited in the account before 1 May? Or is it safe to take the £1000 out and claim the £150 reward on 7th April, then put £1000 back in again at some point in late April?
It will come shortly after the PIN letter. I signed up to TSB on 29th Jan and received my activation code letter today (10th Feb). Then I started the switch process.

I already have a TSB Classic Plus Account, which is a current account, but not my main current account. In the current offer, in the article about bank switches to TSB, it says:
"How to get the free £150 upfront:
- Either have an existing TSB personal current account (not an under 19s account) or open a new Spend & Save or Spend & Save Plus account"
So, I'm not absolutely clear from that wording whether I just have to switch an existing current account with another bank to the existing Classic Plus Account or whether I would still have to open a separate Spend & Save or Spend & Save Plus account, to qualify for the incentive bonuses. Does anyone know for sure?0 -
I ended up never receiving the activation code, despite them saying they were sending one. So I called them, and was told, oh you don't need that, we can set it all up over the phone.

I’m sure I saw that you had until march, of course until today where I see this just as I go to switch! Oh well
