Anyone else affected by the Metro bank mess-up today?
Leaving customers with overdrawn accounts. I understand this might be because money withdrawals have occurred twice. Left the other half with no money today. Metro bank seem to of shutdown all public communications on the matter.

Money I paid from bank account appeared at destination but is also still in bank account.
I have/had about £1700 PayPal credit. I transferred £1300 from my current (back) account to the PayPal credit account on Friday. My PayPal credit amount owed has reduced by £1300 and shows that the payment is received but the money is still in my bank account and I cant see any evidence it was paid or transferred. Any idea…

Two companies have not been able to take direct debit payments for September.
I have been onto my bank and the companies affected. Long standing direct debits have been cancelled - not by me or the bank. Lloyds Standing Order missed
Apologies for what might seem a silly question, but does a missed standing order affect anything such as your credit profile? This is with Lloyds - it says wouldn't be charged for this and that they'll deem the SO invalid after X consecutive missed SO payments. This was to another Lloyds account if it makes a difference.
