I live back in the UK
I have a small Spanish pension come direct to my bank account but have to send a proof of living certificate every year to spain. Now they are requesting one more often and because I rent my UK house out and travel around I have bern paying a notary. Where can I get one done for free. As now spain are changing the rules where by next year u will have to send it quarterly which will cost me too much thanks for any advice.

I think that most of the people who can sign these would charge for doing so1

Does it have to be a notary or can it be a commissioner of oaths? In principle they are a lot cheaper, even though often the same person does both, but some will look for ways to charge you legal costs on top of the fixed fee of the commissioner.
Google suggests VIVESS app can be used for digital proof of life for overseas pensioners?1 -
Your local Council might sign it for free, or for a very modest sum of money.1

At my council we can only do this for residents as we can check them via council tax
we would not verify anyone who just turned up2 -
