Revolut £20 sign up bonus

I recently opened a Revolut account via a link that offered £20 upon my first purchase using the debit card. I added some money to the account but without really thinking just used some of that money to top up my trading 212 account but then I realised this term from the T&C's of the offer:

"This must be a genuine purchase (for example, transactions to a payment service provider, another bank account or e-wallet are not considered genuine"

Do you think that Trading 212 would class as any of the above and rule me out?

Based on that extract, it wouldn't surprise me if they chose not to pay out but it sounds like there's nothing you can do to influence this now you've made your first transaction, so you'll just have to wait and see what they do?

Nope, but don't worry.

The required proper purchase doesn't need to be the first use of the card, just go and buy a banana and it'll be fine.

What a shame. I really never thought about using t212 as my first use of the card and I should have done, my fault. Hopefully when i make a 'real' purchase now it will somehow count.
