Where can i deposit a US cheque
I have a US savings account which is held by Fidelity, I'm a UK citizen, this was set up many years ago through an employer. It has now paid out but they can only do it in the form of a US cheque. My bank won't take it and I'm now sure how to cash it.

Lloyds Bank processed a US cheque for me. Can't recall the fee or whether you have to have an account with them.

Thanks Nearlyold, it seems the banks have stopped taking foreign cheques late last year.

It seams not. Natwest and HSBC accept USD cheques.

A recent thread landed on Lloyds/Halifax/BoS and NatWest/RBS as still accepting foreign cheques.
