We live in a small block of flats built in 2004 We currently have a broadband Fibre 2 package with BT plus BT TV including a shed load of sports stuff that the OH can't live without. We have a tv box and BT hub modem. The BT hub is plugged into the BT socket (we don't have a land line) and the line runs to the block via an…

UK and France access to fibre network
In a very small French village we have been offered FTTC fibre. In the UK, in a major city, on a main road, we’re still waiting to hear if Open Reach can provide it. Meanwhile, our broadband speeds get slower and slower as different providers keep swapping the cables in the nearest cabinet. Progress huh?

They then go on to tell me to start a new contract with them! Can they really do This without any form of compensation? The Upp…

Put in my 30 day notice yesterday with BT B/B after signing up with Virgin as can get more for less but after speaking with a few neighbours that had it done recently i'm thinking of not going through with it. Using BT Email after changing to a new Broadband provider
If I cancel my BT Broadband service for a new provider will I still be able to access by BT Email account and therefore retain my BT Email address and access incoming emails as an external non-BT customer? Are there any other considerations? Looking forward to your advice.

Why I decided not to move to Onestream
I looked at moving to Onestream, but decided not to, for a couple of reasons. I was one click from signing up, but: 1. Router cost. An extra £3 a month on top of the price advertised on the MSE comparison site. That eats up most of the apparent price advantage. That's all a bit underhand. I could buy the router Onestream…

I successfully cancelled Virgin Media broadband. Here is the story.
I understand that Richard Branson do not want so many people to leave his VM wonderland and it may take several months to disconnect. To save your time: I told them I'm moving to another country. They stoped transferring me to another agent and cancelled my contract. My story: I got VM broadband & TV package but I found no…

We're out of contract from next week and the price jumps to £41. I was hoping to be able to shop around now the fibre is connected. But when checking with other…
