Moving from Gigaclear?

We're in a rural ish location. And had Avonline/Gigaclear install full fibre in the area a while ago. I signed up to the deal of 200mbps for £17 per month.

We're out of contract from next week and the price jumps to £41.

I was hoping to be able to shop around now the fibre is connected. But when checking with other providers they can only provide me with standard to the cupboard and use the (very) old copper cable to the house.

Is there any reason they can't use the new fibre line? Am I stuck with Gigaclear?

I have had no issues with the connection, just want to shop around for a better price.
