Does BT call back with better deals when you cancel?

Put in my 30 day notice yesterday with BT B/B after signing up with Virgin as can get more for less but after speaking with a few neighbours that had it done recently i'm thinking of not going through with it.

When it's great, it's great but when it's not it is a nightmare and that's just the call centre and with my wife working from home, she cannot afford any potential downtime.

Never had a problem with BT but the prices are about £10 per month more for 80/20 B/B than their competitors and if they got close to that I would have stayed but wasn't offered anything like that other than the 100 & 500 meg B/B and that was dearer than Virgin.

Only have Virgin as non openreach provider so limited to suppliers.

Has retentions came back with any offers after cancelling.

didn't when I cancelled, I dont think that they are all that bothered if you leave.
