Interested to know what members who are paying for paying for basic fibre 1. Am now paying £24.88 but when contract ends, it will be over £30. Would like to stay with bt but there are more competive prices if I switch. Thanks

Your contract doesn't end (otherwise they would be cutting you off), the discounted minimum contract period is ending and you will be going onto their standard contract rate. They are offering a new discounted minimum term.
£29.99 seems to be the typical discounted rate for Fibre 1 at the moment.
Plusnet, Sky, Shell, TalkTalk & Vodafone are in a similar ballpark to what you are paying now (although you couldn't pay me to join Shell, TalkTalk or Vodafone).0 -
Not helpful with Fibre1 but I had my complaint returned today by phone call.
They're offering me Fibre 2 at £35.99 which I've just looked is only £1 dearer than a brand new customer can get & I've had awful service.
So you know where they can stick their offer & it's not somewhere that's very sunny.0
