OneStream need cancellation notice even though I’ve already switched
I’m trying to get OneStream to stop their direct debits,
having switched from them over 3 months ago. They say I need to reinstate the
DD (or they’ll charge £25) & give a month’s notice to cancel. On the many
occasions I’ve switched broadband before, I’ve never had to give notice to the
old company, they automatically…

Vodafone Broadband
Hi, we had Vodafone Broadband installed last week as the address search indicated that we could have the 910mb with a “guaranteed” 455mb speed. (Previously with Virgin on 250mb with no issues at all, so really looking forward to the increased speeds). After installation, the Engineers confirmed the cable to router was…

Is basically any ISP 100% reliable now?
(Besides Virgin obviously) They all use Openreach. If the internet goes down it's because Openreach went down. I am thinking of switching because Sky has got very expensive. Does BT/EE or Vodafone really make any difference to anything besides price?

speaking to a person possible?
Not sure if this is the correct place on the forum but here goes..... Does anyone know how to speak to an actual advisor at Sky instead of the useless virtual assistant? Thanks

Suspicious about a broadband company
About a year ago, I was sent an ad by Voneus saying they would be rolling out FTTP to my rural area "soon" and offering a very good introductory package which they said would be installed in November. This didn't happen and, at the end of January, I got an email cancelling my order due to "some technical challenges in the…

Advice for Best Full Fibre (FTTP) product overall on Openreach
Trying to advise a friend who has got Full Fibre availability from Openreach and whose O2 Mifi contract is ending. Maybe this will help someone else also. The options HAVE to be Openreach FTTP providers. A non full fibre option is not an option. There are no other FTTP wholesale suppliers or alternative networks in the…

Phone and Broadband for Parents
Hi, my parents have been shunted from SSE to Origin for phone and broadband (FTTC). They were vey happy with SSE but Origin seem to be hopeless - so they want to move. I think that if they do they will end up having to go to FTTP - which will be added trauma! They want basic broadband, a phone line and, ideally, paper…

New Open reach box 10cm X 12cm required on house
In 2019 I was with Vodafone BB on 74Mb (speed was good ~71) and left them to move to Virgin in 2022. I signed up with vodafone today on 74Mb again. I wasn't expecting any 'electric' work to be required, I simply intended to plug in the new router to the BT/OR point. I have a text message from openreach saying: They will…

Cancelling contract after 30 days
Hi everyone, I was with Virgin for broadband, but after a big price increase, I decided to switch to Plusnet. My switch date was 21st February, and Plusnet gave me an activation date of 11th March. When the engineer arrived, he said he couldn’t complete the installation because Openreach needed to do some work outside my…

Quickline cold caller
