Shopping Voucher

Has anyone actually managed to get a broadband deal with the shopping voucher included? Every single time I've tried I get taken to the particular providers webpage, get all the way through to the end of placing the order, and then get a "technical difficulties" message. It always tell me to phone them instead to complete the purchase, but if I do that I don't get the advertised deal (i.e. no shopping voucher). Sky, for example, blame MSE, telling me that they are always getting people trying to switch to them and expecting a shopping voucher who have come from this page, but that the deal doesn't exist. So, is this MSE showing deals which aren't available to encourage traffic on their website? Or is it the broadband providers offering deals to lure new customers and then reneging on them? Either way, someone somewhere is doing some false advertising.

I must have been with most of them over the years. For me Plusnet was best by a country mile.

I signed up recently for their cheapest FTTP deal and received my MasterCard loaded with £150 within days.

I've had a few of them over the years.

Due to my terrible email hygiene I know I received gift cards from:

    • Vodafone in 2021
    • Shell Broadband in 2024
    • Vodafone again in 2025

Plus I can see I've had mobile phone gift cards from TalkMobile, iD Mobile and Virgin over the same period.
