Switching to another landline and bb.

My special offer with bt will end on the 21st May. I want to switch provider, I need to give bt 30 days notice. Is it better if I wait till 22nd May to give month or give I can give it now? Can I give the new provider a date when I want to switch? Thanks

    If you are switching, ie moving from BT to another Openreach supplier, you don't give notice at all. The gaining provider will trigger that
