"Cannot find a device file"
I deleted files which I thought were no longer needed on an old computer because it stated it was short of memory. The computer is only used for one program, The person who owns the computer said that they had created files and that they were no longer using them so I transferred them to an external hard drive which they…

A Keyboard That Works With A Samsung OLED
I bought a Rii K06 mini-keyboard for my Samsung Smart TV (Model QE55S90CAT, bought 2024). The bluetooth pairs but the alphanumeric keys don't work on the TV. The K06 works fine when paired to my desktop. The K06 was advertised as "widely compatible", so what are Samsung doing or not doing to stop it working with a TV that…

Online password managers... beware?
I've always kept all my passwords in an offline password manager (KeePassXC on the desktop and the offline version of keepass2android for mobile). This only accesses a local file which itself is stored on an encrypted local disk and never leaves my devices (OK, it does, but only as a securely encrypted backup). I've always…

PC keyboard help
Hi everyone. I'm sure this is easy for someone to advise me on. Just obtained a new 'Trust' keyboard which is the bees knees but for one aspect. I'm going on hol soon & will be flying. It made me think I should probably get something in place should that big bird fall out of the sky. Looking for a budget Smartwatch/Fitness Tracker
I'm looking for a Smartwatch or activity tracker under £40. The most important feature to me would be to log my fluid intake and log when i take my medication. I'm not bothered about tracking steps or activity or anything like that. Just wondered if anybody could recommend anything? I'd be grateful for any help. Thanks
