Windows 11 update 26H2

Just got round to this and at last I can move my taskbar to where I want to see it , at the top, how many years 😎

Toolbar at the top?

You're weird.

Just curious… why do you prefer top ?

Do you not have a rotating monitor that could have done the same thing for you?

I've had it up the top for a few years on Win 10 & 11 via an add on.
I find it far more intuitive, How many other programs have the menu at the bottom?
MS had it at the top to start with, but when it advanced other programs slipped under it so it was moved to the bottom to prevent this.

The modern taskbar for Windows was introduced in Windows 95 and by default it was at the bottom.
Certain flavours of Linux, if not all of them, tend to default their equivalent of the taskbar at the top, and this is the same for MacOS as well.

Yes, I explained why it was at the bottom.

It also means that means that PC not officially supported for Windows 11, will still receive security updates until at least October '28.

All those people who rushed out to buy new PCs…for nothing.

For those who find me weird, you get what you pay for 😎. However I often use my PC using an iPad using remote desktop and don't wish to scroll down to bring up the taskbar.

Nonsense, security updates are only a very small part of what's been added to Win11 over Win10.

Huh?? Its Windows 11 not an unsupported update from 10 , although I also have one of those.
