Just got round to this and at last I can move my taskbar to where I want to see it , at the top, how many years 😎

For me, it's simple. The site is geared towards saving money where you can. For older officially unsupported devices, as it stands, Windows 10 Home and Pro are delivering security updates until Oct '27 and Windows 11 until Oct '28.
Some may have their reasons for discouraging people from making use of this or perhaps are merely churlish.
