Change HEIC to JPG

I don't know how or why this has changed but i want to go back to JPG.

Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

A quick Google says this,

On Windows

• Open the file in the native Photos app or Paint, click the menu/save options, and choose Save as JPEG

Hi, i did as it says,but when i downloaded a photo,it went back to HEIC.

If you are getting the images from an iPhone I believe you can change the camera settings so that it reverts back to saving in JPEG so you don't need to do this again in the future.

I'm using android. When i click on to change to JPEG, it says it already installed, but it still goes back to HEIC.

You should be able to set your phone to save its images from now, in JPG rather then HEIC, but for images already on your PC, use something like Irfanview, you can do batch conversions on it which will probably be a quicker way to get where you want to be.

Why do you want to convert them? HEIC is better in almost every way which is why all new devices use it as the default. The only real advantage of jpg is if the file is partially corrupted you can render the uncorrupted parts but countering that is more about backup than using a larger older less capable format

I send photos of till reeipts Shop and Scan, and they will only accept them in JPEG format.
