Saving in Google Drive
Question? How do you organise your files in Google Drive? The architecture is a bit of a mystery to me. Can anyone recommend a good YouTube video about this or explain at all. At the moment Google Drive just saves for me and I go into recent files. There must be more to it than that.

Dumping the Dish, Sky via Fiber
We are soon to be with full fiber. We are still on Sky HD and have to share a Dish with a neighbor due to line of site issues. So it seems like it may be a good time to change our Sky sub scription to its streaming via pucks. Would be looking to have 2 extra pucks for other rooms. Means we could get a few of our other…

With EE for years now weak signal means can't use FB or Reels in living room
We've been with EE broadband for years and have never had a problem but for the past 5/6 nights we have been having trouble accessing FB and Reels on our mobiles in the living room. Every so often we have to come into the hall and wave our phones around to get reconnected to wifi. It works okay in the kitchen and upstairs…

Does anyone know if Microsoft have any plans to extend this again for another year? I was considering whether I would need to purchase a new laptop within the next 6 months. Thank you in advance

Where to buy a refurbished laptop or all in one pc
As the above, can anyone recommend where to buy either a laptop or a mini/all in one pc? I slightly prefer all in one pc due to a bigger screen and keyboard further apart. Possibly ex office equipment? Any ideas where to look?

Bluetooth trackers - Tile vs Apple
Ideally feedback from members who've experienced both. I've experienced Tile myself & the Samsung version but not the Apple version. Obviously Apple extract more money out of you by not making it keyring friendly (initially). I'm aware of that. Looking at a which to go for and why for an iPhone user. Looking at it, the…

Some technical Qs about e-bikes.
Q1 - batteries. I understand these have built-in BMS circuits to monitor and protect them during charging. After they have been charged and installed on the bike, is it then purely the +&- contacts that do the job? Ie, the bike's electronics work out the charge state for the display, and doesn't have any particular comms…

First QR scan not working
I'm trying to verify my identity on a website with my Chromebook, and it gives me a QR code to scan with my mobile. The mobile says: QR is detected. Tap to visit the link. I've done this dozens of times but it always fails. Mostly the error message is: Something's gone wrong You'll need to restart verification on your…

I’ve been struggling to find a reliable, clean tool lately and wondered if the MSE community has any recommendations? For a long time, I used Savefrom, but the pop-up ads have become unbearable recently. A…

Q about adding second battery to eBike. (Not sure which best forum).
Hi. Giving thoughts to getting a G-Tech City ebike*. Yes, I know it's discontinued, and I know that parts will become scarce, and that's one of the reasons for this Q. Apart from the rubber/carbon drive belt, the other unique part is, of course, the battery. The battery isn't really a problem as such, as to have an eBike…

Advice on device output and sound please
Hi all. We have a DAB radio but the speaker doesn't give us very good sound. I'm looking at getting something better but before I do, I'm just wondering whether it's worth getting some small speakers with better sound to plug into the headphone jack. Would that work or is it more dependent on the output? In the event of…

Logging in without passwords or administrator

Multiple Spotify accounts - one smart speaker
We're considering getting an Echo Dot but my wife and I have seperate Spotify accounts and I think I'm right in saying that you can only connect to one right? If so, are there other smart speakers that you can link multiple accounts to or is it a Spotify issue. If you can only connect to one account, then presumable one of…

Mobile camera for concert photography
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good camera phone for taking photos (or very short clips) at concerts or other events with similar lighting? Budget wise, I'm looking at around £700 (or a little more if there's a big leap in quality). Ideally, I don't want it to be any larger than 6.3 All opinions appreciated -…
