Apple Trial Concern...
Hi, I signed up to a month’s Free Apple One Trial (primarily to watch Apple TV), but the Trial included other stuff, some of which I already had, namely Apple Music and iCloud+, both of which I’ve been paying for as individual monthly subscriptions for some considerable time.
I just tried to cancel the Subscription today (in advance of imminent expiry in a few days) and the ‘Apps for your Subscription’ show Apple Music, Apple TV, Apple Arcade, iCloud+…however, underneath this, it says: ‘Choose Individual Services’. When selected, I am given the option to keep Apple Music, (Family), Apple TV, and Apple Arcade. The only thing listed under ‘Existing Subscriptions’ is iCloud+.
Essentially, my concern is that Apple Music is not also listed under ‘Existing Subscriptions’ and by cancelling the Apple One Trial it is going to wipe my Apple Music content and not reinstate my Individual Plan. Does anyone have any experience of this scenario?
Thanks in advance.

When you sign up to Apple One , it explains that your existing subscriptions are cancelled and you receive a pro-rated refund. It lists which subscriptions will be cancelled.
This is so that you don't pay twice for eg Apple Music.
iCloud+ can run alongside AppleOne with the storage added together.
So if you cancel Apple One then you'll need to resubscribe. You shouldn't lose any content as it's linked to your Apple ID, you just lose access to it when you aren't subscribed.
(In some countries outside the UK and US the situation is different because iCloud+ includes some of the things that are in Apple One because of local regulations/laws)

Hi, thanks for your reply and the very useful info. I didn't have any notifications re existing subs being cancelled, maybe I just didn't read the small print. I've certainly had no pro-rated refund for Apple Music, but I've just noticed that my usual monthly Individual payment wasn't taken as normal in October. I'll go ahead and cancel the Family plan and hopefully re-subscribing will get things back to normal without any loss of content. Thanks again, Martha
