Lincoln Financial group-Sun Life
I have read so much my head hurts-hoping for some advice. Took out a Growth 10 Plus Plan in March 1982 with Lincoln Financial. (savings plan) This had an element of Life Cover and I'm sure a huge element of commission that was never explained. The Lincoln policy passed to Sun Life of Canada and I cashed it in March 2012…

PPI and old/current catalogue accounts
My pensioner mum has long squandered much of her money on catalogues and ran up thousands of pounds debt. This hasn't been helped by her suffering from at times severe mental health issues. Is there any way she can claim back PPI from some of these firms? Paperwork would be a problem as she absolutely does not like me…

Tesco Bank PPI refund
Hi I’ve been awarded a PPI refund from Tesco bank and they said they would transfer the payment to my bank within 7 business days. I’m at day 6 and can’t see any evidence that the payment is anywhere close to being transferred. Has anybody else here been awarded a refund by Tesco and was your payment received on time?…

Hi all, wondered if I could ask for advice on a rejected MBNA PPI claim. I put in a claim back in summer of 2017 on the grounds of being mis-sold PPI, I had 3 reasons 1. at the time of taking out the credit card I felt as though I had to have the PPI, 2. I lived at home with my parent who would have helped if I got in to…

Virgin Money Mortgage
Hi We had an offset mortgage with Virgin Money from 1996 to 2004. I am not sure whether we had PPI associated with this mortgage. I was going to use the Resoler tool but can't see Virgin on the drop down field. Is it likely/possible that we paid PPI?

Lloyds PPI query - cheque or bank transfer?

Paymentshield claims
This question has probably been asked loads of times and I apologise now if it has! I bought my house in 2007 and like lots of people at the time, I just needed a mortgage. I eventually found one that we could afford. At the time I just agreed to everything because we wanted the house and only now do I realise that one of…

GE Capital or Kitchens Direct - who to pursue PPI claim?
I took out a loan in 2003 when buying a kitchen from Kitchens Direct. Their sales rep sold me the loan, forcing me into including PPI. I want to pursue a claim for mis-selling PPI but am encountering problems. I wrote a letter to Kitchens Direct using the template on this site. They replied stating as the loan is with GE…

Credit Cover Premium
Hi, I found some old credit card statements from N&P and Abbey National with what I thought was PPI they date from 1993 to 2000 so are covered by Santander. I submitted a claim but I am being told that as the statements have Credit Cover Premium or Credit Care Insurance (at 68p per £100) it is not PPI so I cannot claim.…

Online PPI enquiry form or complaint form???
Hi, I know that I'm cutting it fine, but foolishly, reclaiming PPI has never made it to the top of my "To-do" list until now. I have just started to fill in the online enquiry forms with various lenders to check if I had PPI but a few of them say that it could take 14 to 28 days to reply. Bearing in mind the imminent…

Between 1989 and 1999, I owned a house. Although I have the address of the property, I can find no record of who I had the mortgage through. I have no old bank statements or letters from the mortgage provider. Can anyone advise how I can find this information as I want to use this information in a PPI enquiry? Thanks

Claiming PPI for deceased Parent of over 10 years
Hi All, Quick question. I have just read that you can claim PPI for a deceased relative. My mother passed away in 2006, when I was 16. Am I able to start the motions of putting in a claim, as a beneficiary can it be me or does it have to be the original administrator of the estate that handled it back in 2006? Thank you.

PPI Career Development Loan
I have ignored the the PPI ads etc as I have never had a mortgage or a major loan. I was a student until 2013 and only had a student overdraft which I assumed didn't have ppi as it was interest free. Since then I have had a credit card but that was after PPI was all over the news so again I assumed it wasn't relevant to…

PPI Help
Hi, hoping someone can assist please. I always used to say no to PPI so never bothered claiming (my company at the time would have paid out 6 months sick pay so it didn't seem worth it to me), but keep seeing people who have received a payment despite them not realising they had it.
