Tesco Bank PPI refund

Hi

I’ve been awarded a PPI refund from Tesco bank and they said they would transfer the payment to my bank within 7 business days. I’m at day 6 and can’t see any evidence that the payment is anywhere close to being transferred.

Has anybody else here been awarded a refund by Tesco and was your payment received on time?

Why would you see evidence that it was in the process of being transferred. It will arrive on day 7 or it won't......at which stage you phone them.

Yes, people will received them on time.

Others inevitably will have received them late.

You'll just have to be patient. Most Banks require 28 days, so payment in just 7 is pushing it especially as there is currently a mad rush of PPI complaints due to the imminent deadline.

Unless there has been some development in banking that I am not aware of, you would not see any evidence of a payment being made until it arrives in your account.

I don’t know, I suppose I thought I would see it pending or something. I guess I should just wait and see like you say.
