EGG ppi reclaim runaround

Hi
I wonder if anyone can advise me, I am trying to reclaim my ppi sold to me on my Egg credit card. I have put in a claim to citibank( Canada Square) and they have written back stating that they have forwarded the account to Barclaycard as Barclaycard bought the Account in 2011. Barclaycard however have returned the claim back to Citibank stating that Egg sold the ppi and they are not responsible. Citibank have provided proof that the account but I am just getting passed back from one to the other. .
Thanks in advance

Clarify to Citi that you're making a complaint, not a claim.
You may have confused them by talking about a claim, which is why they forwarded you on.0 -
What I would really like to know is who is actually responsible for my complaint, Citibank or Barclaycard. Even though the card was still active when Barclaycard bought Egg I had stopped the the PPI in 2008 when I realised I wasn't eligible being self employed. Barclaycard's stance is that Citibank are responsible as they sold the policy, and Citibank state that Barclaycard are responsible because they bought the account in 2011.
thanks again0 -
Canada Square Operations(Citibank) are handling it as a complaint0

EGG claims are being handled by Citibank (Canada Square Operations) There is a change date where after which it was transferred to Barclaycard but this was later, 2011, Resolver gives you the exact cut off date. I had a really easy claim with them, and quickly settled too.0

another Egg question. I have a series of paperwork from Barclaycard. I got an Egg credit card in 2003 with PPI. I continued paying the PPI until 2012 . I complained about PPI to Barclaycard a month later and was subsequently rejected. More recently I have been sent another letter from Barclaycard "to make a new type of complaint". What I want to know is whether it is better to follow their on line questionnaire or to try "Resolver"? Any thoughts. Also I still have the credit card with Barclaycard and some paperwork going back to it's inception.0
