PPI claim from fiat auto financial services t/a fiat consumer services
Evening all, I’ve found some paperwork re: my car finance from 2007. There is PPI on the form, however my problem isn’t so straight forward. The dealership where I purchased it from (Desira Southgate) no longer exists but I believe they are part of the Desira Group in Bury St Edmunds. With the deadline soon approaching do…

Do I do separate claims for each loan if same bank?
Good evening all, I’d really appreciate some help with some questions. I’m in a DMP since 2005 got some pretty old debts and have paid back about 60% so want to claim PPI to try and clear it and finally be done with debt. I have managed to find some paper work and looks like I had loans and dual credit card with NatWest.…

Reply from Santander
My wife had some store cards in the past but no longer have the paperwork. Found out that most are now covered by by Santander so filled in the on line request about six weeks ago and just got the reply which I find a little confusing. It states "we have found the accounts shown in the table on the back of this letter". in…

PPI Errors Allience and Liecester/ Santander
this is a really strange one tbh, they have agreed a pay back of ppi. But very strange there was in theory 3883.64 owing on account In 2009, this includes the 2146 pounds PPi single premium added at beginning of loan , they then calculated interest based on the 35.77 PPi payments I made over 36 months. So total figure…

Original bank statement
Hi Tesco bank informed me that they could not pay my refund into my bank because the bank statement I sent them was printed off from my internet banking account. They asked me to get an original statement or get the printed copy stamped. Apparently HSBC won’t stamp statements so I’ve ordered duplicates from the bank. My…

Bank saying letter sent three years ago and now we can't claim PPI
We contacted a bank who confirmed we had PPI but would not investigate our claim as they said they wrote to us three years ago to let us know we had PPI and we didn't respond. We were in the middle of moving and never received this letter. We called to let then know this and received another letter asking for new address.…

MBNA PPI response?
Hi, With the August deadline looming I have eventually got round to contacting various Credit Card companies enquiring about any PPI associated with my old accounts. MBNA sent the following response, and I wondered if it was worth pursuing further as it seems rather vague? [I]"Thanks for contacting us. Our records show…

Principles/Santander - but Should I also complain to Genworth now? (Because of the deadline)
I had store cards (Debenhams, Principles, New Look, Dorothy Perkins) when I was barely an adult approx 1998. Today, I found out on the phone from Santander that my Principles account from 1998 had PPI. Therefore I have today sent off a complaint to Santander about that PPI. However, I have been reading about the fact that…

PPI Payments Carried on After Mortgage
A PPI was (mis) sold (claim has been submitted) at the same time as taking out a mortgage. That mortgage was paid of when the house was sold some years later. The PPI was administered by a third party company. We've just realised the payments are still being taken some years after the mortgage was stopped. The third party…

Hi, I tried to claim PPI from the West Bromwich Building Society for a joint mortgage that i had with an ex partner. This was back in…

Who Do You Send the PPI Claim To?
If you are (mis)sold a PPI by Alliance & Leicester during the setting up of a mortgage, but the PPI is actually administered by Cardif Pinnacle, am I correct in presuming its Alliance & Leicester (now Santander) the person would send their PPI claim to?

Checks auto turning into Complaints - safe to assume?
I have done a number of 'Checks' either via Resolver or the company own website. I read on MSE that the following banks will automatically turn any valid checks into complaints.. [MBNA, Canada Square (EGG+Citibank), Halifax, Co-op, Barclaycard]. There are 3 other companies that Resolver give the impression in the wording…

Proof of PPI Claim Submission
At this late stage, if making a claim, what is the best way to ensure you get proof you sent it? (that would be accepted by the ombudsman) For example Santander have an online claim submission tool (which is probably more secure than sending personal information in the post) - but I'm not sure it sends a confirmation that…

iGroup / GE Money Mortgage PPI ~ Please help!!
Hi I was sold mortgage PPI back in 2004 by a broker (Olympian Finance - now defunct!). I was expressly told at the time that not taking up the ppi offer would seriously affect the outcome of the associated mortgage application. I therefore signed up to pay £4250.00, (for 5 years cover) payable over the term of the…
