Made a claim to Peugeot for PPI

I sent my claim to Peugeot PSA today, they responded and said that if they required more information from me and i didn't send it in before the 29th Aug deadline my claim would be too late...does anyone know if this is correct?
Thanks.

The PPI complaint deadline is indeed August 29th 2019.
    Did you actually have PPI?
If so, was it prior to 2005?
If so, car dealers were not regulated prior to this date and already don't have to consider your complaint.

What information do they require ? If you have this information, why not submit it prior to the deadline?

You have a fortnight left to tie all this together...

    Hi
Ive only just sent the request and what i assume is an automated response came back saying if they require further info...not what. I did tell them all the information i have when i sent it. I just thought that as long as my claim was on by the 29th then there was time after that to gather onfo.
The date of car loan was after 2005
    Thanks.

If it was related to car finance then you are complaining to the wrong people.....you need to complain to the dealer who sold you the PPI. But, as above, if it was prior to 2005 then you are wasting your time.

So did you actually have PPI? What actual year was this?

Any PPI mis-selling complaint must go to the original dealer who sold you any PPI.
