PPI claim
I wonder if anyone can advise me, I took out a PPI policy with Northern Rock which I did through the post, I ticked the box for PPI & signed the form, down to this the bank has refused my claim, do I have reason to go to the Ombudsman or have I no cause for complaint. I have been awarded PPI but the bank are taking over £1000 off the total. In 2004 I used my PPI to make a claim and my mortgage was paid for 2 months. Now they are taking £1000 off my refund. Can they do this?
