CC Sentinel, found Reg No but no paperwork

It was pre 2005 and I had a Credit Card with Barclaycard, and was ‘sold’ the ‘Credit Card Sentinel’ as needed insurance to cover the cost should my card/s be stolen. Years later I changed banks and my Credit Card but kept my Barclaycard / CC Sentinel paperwork as required for 7 years, after this time the majority of papers got shredded. Then came the PPI scandal but I had no proof or paperwork, or my registration number to back up a claim, so thought there was no point in trying to claim.

Today, sorting through some old keys I came across my CC Sentinel key tag with my registration number! As I am no longer with Barclays or Barclaycard is it possible to put in a claim and if so to whom? Or am I too late??

Just read the guide on this site about pre-2005
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/credit-cards/Sentinel-Affinion-card-protectionSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

I got a payout a few months ago about £300 , they wrote to me , I didn't know about the scandal .
I suggest you contact them as you may have moved addresses and they have already written to you at your old one.0 -
Thanks guy's, downloaded letter and filled it in with current and the 'then' address together with my Sentinel registered number. Will send tomorrow and see what happens!
