Can I retain no. if iD to iD but via MobilesdotCodotUK?
I've just started the second month of a 1-month SIM only contract direct with ID, but their upgrade offerings just weren't as good as the new 12 months SIM I have ordered from Mobiles.co.uk. It should arrive on Tuesday but I haven't given any notice or applied for PAC yet. I don't mind the number going onto a PAYG SIM (if…

Long shot, I know but my 95 yr old fil who's bedridden relies on his mobile in his care home but we can't get it to turn on just getting the revolving log- in symbol.Tried to do factory reset but nothing changes. Don't suppose anyone can suggest a solution? We could always get a new mobile but he's so used to this one - he…

Lebara mobile offer
I got a sim from Lebara via this website. It was supposed to come with a £45 voucher for Amazon or Tesco, useful just before Christmas! However Lebara now say MSE offered the deal, not them, and they don't give away vouchers. Has this happened to anyone else?

Transferring data to new phone
With my current phone I got a kead in the bix that I olugged into the old phine and the bew one and it transferred all my contacts, texts etc across. I'm considering getting the Galaxy A53, and I've had a look at what's in the box. It has a charging lead with two small ends. I don't think I could plug this in to any…

EE & Phone Repair
Hi, hope someone can advise. I bought a brand new Samsung A12 in July 21from EE. It's still in warranty. The on/off switch stopped working. I took it into my local store. The sales advisor checked over the phone, advised it was in good condition (no markings or dents). He took it to the back office to turn it on - the only…

Confused about plans
Hi I’m looking to upgrade my Samsung Galaxy S7 to possibly a Google Pixel 6a (as per my other post). I’ll stay with EE but my 24month plan expired over 100 days ago and is now a rolling monthly one. I’ll probably buy the Pixel 6a outright but was wondering if it’s possible to renew another 12 or 24 month plan with EE using…

Mobile phone - 2 year contract
If I get a new phone on a 2 year contract, what happens at the end of the second year? Would I own the handset, and could I move to another provider on a sim only contract?

Switching network with existing ongoing contract
Basically I am thinking of switching from O2 to EE as O2 signal has been down right shocking in the past year. I put in a complaint and they refused to give me a fee free exit from my contract as 'congestion is not their fault' (despite the fact it worked fine until the past 6 months so I put it down to them must have…

'upgrade' sim-only --> sim only (Vodafone)
Upgraded though mobiles.co.uk (CPW). They sent me a new SIM - I have no idea what for. The enclosed Voda leaflet says "Pop it into your phone and you'll be up and running straight away." E-mails from Voda say that the new contract starts on Nov 30. My old SIM still works fine. Tried to replace it with the new one today -…

Does utilising a PAC code automatically end a rolling contract and cancel Auto Renew with Lyca?
With some mobile providers like Smarty or Lebara, you can turn off the "Auto Renew" option so that a rolling 30 day contract doesn't continue and thus you will not be charged in the future. Lyca Mobile's website isn't as clear when it comes to Account/billing details. The plan I am on is a MSE blagged deal for 5p a month.…

Wifi calling
I've been given a new phone (not totally new, refurb, but new to me) and this does wifi calling. I have two SIMs, one from 3 and another from RWG. I have read somewhere here that RWG doesn't support wifi calling... is that correct? If so, perhaps I use just the 3 SIM. Also, if I understood the technical bits correctly then…

Advice -First time switching SIM cards. Confused monthly contract?
Hi Ive seen this pop up and it’s just over half price I currently pay with Three and has 6Gb more data! I’m confused on how it can be that price when you are only taking out a monthly contract. How does it state it yearly in the description of costs? how does this actually work as I need a 12 month contract to get the deal…

Recycling mobile phones warning
I'm trying to recycle my iphone 11. Its in excellent condition, always kept in a case with a screen protector, not a scratch on it and in full working order. I used the comparison site 'compareandrecycle.co.uk, which were fine. The top offer was from 'WeBuyAnyPhone', offering £245 for 'good' quality. The posting process…

Vodafone - EU roaming still included after renewal?.
I'm heading abroad to a couple of EU destinations in the next few weeks so thought I'd check in the app details on the £8 for 8 days roaming saver. However, the app says I have "Inclusive roaming in 51 European destinations" (which started in March 2018 apparently). I've been SIM only pay monthly for over a decade now, and…

SMARTY 5G
I'm in the process of buying my first 5G phone (Motorola G62 5G) and I'm intending to switch to a new SIM-only deal that includes 5G access. The MSE SIM-only guide states that SMARTY doesn't offer 5G, but that's contradicted by the 12GB entry in the list which says it does. The SMARTY website indicates that they do offer…

Penny Mobile
Just a shout out for 1p mobile as good money saving payg tip. The tariff is only 1p a text, 1p a minute calls, 1p a mb data. All you are committed to is £10 every 4 months i.e. 12 quid a year. They run on EE network. I have no affiliation with 1p mobile and been with them 3 years without a hitch. Ideal for a low user.…

Fonehouse
Hi, looking for some advice. I ordered a phone through Fonehouse on 3 network and cancelled in the first week. I sent the unused sealed phone back and they’re telling me they’ve cancelled my 3 contract but 3 tell me they haven’t. They’re both telling me to ring the other and I’m getting nowhere. Three won’t cancel the…
