Lebara 2 monthly plans on same sim

Hi All, 

Currently messing around with Lebara and have just ported my number across. I was on a £5 for 5GB 30 day plan. This is nowhere near enough data for me so I was waiting till I needed to renew to up this. 

Then the black Friday deal came out, unlimited data for £15 for 3 months. This deal runs out before my expiry so I have bought it. 

I now have two monthly plans on the same sim. 

How does this work? It seems that they are using the allowances from my first plan, the 5GB, and not my new unlimited plan. 

If I run out of any of the allowances on one plan will the other kick in, or do I just need to wait till the first one expires?

What does your online account show?
Usually either the new bundle is queued to start after the old one finishes, or the old one is automatically cancelled once you change to a new package.

I had that happen. They said a payment didn't work so I bought one manually. But the payment had gone through. Then both appeared in the app but neither showed any usage even though I'd used the phone. 

I think their app is poor.

At least it says that the unlimited plan will renew and the 5gb plan will not.  I would guess therefore that it will use up the allowance on the plan purchased first and then, hopefully, start using the subsequent plan once the allowance is used up.

That's what I am hoping for.

My youngest had 2 plans briefly. She was watching tiktok while we were staying in flat with no wifi and her regular 5GB plan ran out of data. I bought her a 20GB plan and she was able to use that with the 5GB plan still active, if out of data. I made sure the 5GB plan was set to autorenew and the 20GB plan had autorenew off. It all worked as I would hope with no issues.

Sounds positive. I will keep an eye on the usage, it's just a shame it takes hours/days to update.
