Phone info minefield - fingerprint sensors
Hi there. My old phones had either a fingerprint sensor on the side or the back but now modern phones seem to have them on the screen. The issue I have is that I don't like flip cases that protect your screen and all the screen protectors I've got for the one I have now that have a slightly thinner area over the sensor are…

I wonder if any of you lovely people can help me. O2

£14 a month. When I got my bill through for the first full month the discount
was £11.67 so I queried it, their response was: 'Having investigated the account, we can confirm that the

Vodafone contract renewal in March
My contract with Vodafone is up for renewal, and I have found a decent deal to 'upgrade' to. However, if I take this deal now, will I be hit with the April RPI increase in a fortnight? I'm a bit wary about waiting, in case this deal is removed at the end of the month

New Vodafone contract
Hi All, My wife's sim only contract with Vodafone expires today and is going up from £12 a month to £17. We've looked on the MSE website for deals and found one which is £95 a month up front for the iPhone 15 and then £35 a month for 2 years. Went onto MyVodafone and the best they can offer is an 8GB plan (which would be…

1p Penny Mobile
Just a follow-up from Martins’ help on mobile phones tonight, I am an avid fan of '1p Penny Mobile'. If you
are a light user, the tariff is only 1p per minute, 1p per text, and 1p per MB of
data. They also have a 1-year deal for £36 which I have just signed up to. This then gives you unlimited calls
& texts, plus 250MB of…

Is EE testing VoNR?
When I make a call while connected to 5G, my iPhone normally switches to 4G for VoLTE and then back to 5G. But I've noticed that in one particular area the phone stays connected to 5G throughout. I know VoNR hasn't launched but is EE testing it?

Unwanted Call
Received a call today from [Removed by Forum Team], lady said she was from Call Guardian UK and asked did I get many unwanted call ? I said hers was the first ! She went on to say as I was already registered, I was eligible for an upgrade to stop all unwanted calls ? Didn't bother to listen anymore. I just said yes I was…

Lebara?
Hi, Do mobile companies recycle numbers? I've been with Lebara a few times, and each time I get a new payg SIM card, I've had texts for other people, once for a woman from a company who had finished appraising the gold she had sent in. Another time, I tried to sign up online using my number on a new SIM and was told this…

No Service due to a mast issue
My mobile is practically useless unless I am on WiFi. I have no signal to make calls or send/receive texts and no data. O2 tell me there is a mast issue and it should be fixed by the end of April 2024 (approximately 6 weeks away). I am mid contract. What are my rights, please?

Lebara Sim
I sent for one of these and was trying to buy a new second mobile phone for my BiL. Sister said he probably was set in his ways and would not use it, so I put off buying the phone. Lebara kept reminding me I would lose the deal I signed up for, so I put the Sim in my iPad Mini, it works a treat. I cannot work out how to…

Phone-Smart Refusing 14 Day Cooling Off Period
I'm hoping someone can help...I recently answered a cold call and ended up signing a contract to move over to Phone-Smart / Plan.com for my mobile phone. I transferred from O2. I did not require a new SIM or a new number and my phone has not changed (owned). They are claiming that the 14-day cooling off period does not…

small android g5 vs new alcatel
my old moto g5 is struggling , storage used up, slightly slow. A similar size android is the alcatel 1 selling new in the shops. However, despite the moto being 6/7 years old it still beats the alcatel! https://www.smartprix.com/mobiles/alcatel_1_2021_vs_motorola_moto_g5-cpd1wr7uf6a4_11018e8vijb.php

Virgin to O2 - contact from O2 (?) - scam or legit?
I was recently transferred from VirginMobile to O2 along with everyone else. I initially received 2 texts from O2 at the start of July with what seemed to be my O2 username and password. Then, on 24 July I received 2 texts in the same text chain, which said: a) "*SECURITY WARNING* The one-time code you requested will…

Ee price increase
This may be a daft question but it's been bugging me and I'm not sure if I'm just being a idiot, so last year ee put the prices up 14% because of inflation, this month it's gone up 7.9%, surely if inflation come down that should be reflected in the prices

1pmobile sim only top up?
I was about to order the 30 day sim only offer with 25GB, unlimited calls & texts for £10 a month but it adds a £10 joining top up to the basket. The blurb says they'll collect the £10 automatically so you don't need to keep topping up so would I be paying the £10 joining top up then another £10 for the first 30 days, or…
