If mobile phone contract seems to good to be true it usually is<LOL>

I changed to Lebara when my EE contract came to an end.
Phone worked well, but despite following their website instructions, I cannot connect to Wifi when outside my home.
Contacted Lebara and after waiting an eternity the agent gave me the same twaddle as posted on the website.

  • What has Lebara got to do with Wifi?

Been a Lebara use for a few years and have not had a issue.

    Confused here as well.

You don't even need a SIM to connect to Wifi.

I used Lebara before and may well go back to them if there is a decent offer before o2 sting me with their new "clarity and certainty" price increase next year.

  • Is this in addition to whatever Wifi issue you have?

What app are you using to access email?

Can you see that there are attachments but cannot open them or is there no indication of any attachment?

Outlook. I can open attachments at home but nowhere else. Lebara does not permit access to download previously read attachments when away from home. A real pain in the azz when I tried to return a package today at the Post Office and could not open the return code attached to an email from Amazon.
Lebara were less than helpful when I contacted them :-(

    Lebara have told you this?

Never used to be the case.

Do you get any sort of warning message or just the email minus attachment?

Lebara just referred to info I had previously read on webpage.

I can see the attachment, just cannot open it. Opened when I got home on my Wifi at home.

Glad you are happy with Lebara and do not have issues

I currently don't use Lebara but had on a device until end of September. Used Outlook and could access emails and attachments with no issues.

Can I just check, you don't have any Wifi issues just a problem when using mobile data?

The issue today was when attempting to use mobile data to access an attachment on an Outlook message from Amazon

  • K so the original Wifi comment is irrelevant.

    You using Android or Apple?

When I was with Lebara I was using an iPad with Outlook.

Lebara on iPhone used the Apple mail app.

Do new emails with attachments load and are readable okay on mobile data and is the issue only with previously opened attachments and Lebara told you these wouldn't be accessible?
