Samsung S24 plus: buying from Samsung.com UK or Amazon UK
Hi all I would be grateful for some advice please. I am replacing my old Samsung S8 and I am tempted by the new
S24 plus. I have read online that the processor varies based on where
its brought and the best processor in Snapdragon (US, Canada, Taiwan) compared to
Exynos 2400 (UK and Europe). Looking at where to buy…

Samsung S25 Ultra - best time of the year to buy their latest phones
I'm interested in buying the S25 ultra which will be out early next year. I tend to buy phones outright which isn't cheap. I'll be using a trade in which will give £300 off. Based on history is it better to buy it on pre launch and get the bundles or wait for Easter etc. Thanks

Best provider for making calls to Jersey
My 86-year-old Mum likes to call a friend in Jersey now and again. She uses a 'thick' phone as she doesn't understand how to use apps and the like. She doesn't even know how to text, bless her. Like many others it seems, O2 class calls to Jersey as 'International' and sting her for 55p per minute. Outrageous if you ask me.…

O2 have been taking £5 unauthorised direct debit from my 81 yo Dad for 15 months
I searched the forum to see if anyone else had already posted about this and the last post was in 2011 and has since been closed, but it looks like this practice is still ongoing. Judging by the Virgin Media Community Forum it isn't exactly uncommon either!…

Breach of contract?
I recently undertook an upgrade on my phone. There was no early upgrade fee. However, I had to pay £160 for the new handset on the plan. I timed it, so the bill ended on the end of the current pay period for that month. The company didn't take the last direct debit from my account and took the monthly bill from the £160…

No contract sims ?
Is there a sim that I can use on my backup phone that I hardly ever use that the credit doesn't expire ? I was surprised that last time I went to use it I found the provider had " stolen" all my credit , I'm not tech savvy so assumed my credit was mine, which used to be the case.

Switching to RWG mobile?
Due to uncertainties with 1p mobile, I was thinking of moving to RWG. I looked for previous posts, and saw complaints about not receiving the sim, and poor customer service. I had a look on TrustPilot, and the reviews were mixed, many happy but also many very unhappy. I'm a very low usage customer, but would rely on…

I am going to buy a Pixel 9 pro........ they are currently offering over £200 trade in. Unfortunately I don't have one of the phones on the list of eligible devices. The terms say the phone has to be working with no cracked screen. I was thinking of buying a used phone on Ebay for about £25 and using that for the trade…

Has ASDA (and others) stopped auto top-up on PAYG?
I was just updating my card details online at the ASDA portal and I can't find anywhere that talks about auto top-up, where you top up (in my case) £5 when balance drops below £1. I can autorenew packs, but that's no good for me, I'm topping up max. every 2mths and the cheapest is £4/mth (calls and texts only). Does anyone…

This trick stated that I wouldn't have to actually use the SIM. Having done this…
