EE out of contract but still taking Direct Debit
My Apple Watch contract ended July 22 and since then I have received a call to see if I wanted to upgrade to the latest one, I said no, nothing was advised that I needed to end my contract - as the contract ended due to the full 12 months ending. EE have been taking £28 per month since then?? I’ve asked to be re- unbursed…

cancelling BT broadband by email is allowed in contract law
After last years ridiculous BT increases in march23 we realised how much more we were paying for BT broadband compared with its rivals . we asked to serve notice that in may 24 we wished to cancel as that was the end of our 24 month contract . we were told that we couldn't give that much notice and keep the service until…

Iphone interest free from apple/barclays - does it exist?
Hi, I have a good simonly deal (£9 a month, 60gb, untd texts and calls) and was hoping to get a new iphone direct from apple on a 0% finance over 24 months as they advertise (provided by Barclays). I was surprised to see my credit application was objected. I'm a company director, with a good salary and an excellent credit…

Has my number been spoofed?
OK, so this is a bit odd, but today I received two calls from people unknown to me saying they were returning my call. I assumed the first was just an error, but the second makes me think that maybe my number has been spoofed by some ne'er-do-wells. I can still phone to my number and dial out as usual. It may be possible…

Phone contract rip-off
Some years ago my husband signed up to Vodafone to get a first phone for our daughter. He took out a contract which included a handset and a package deal and paid just over £25 per month. He assumed it would reduce automatically when the handset was paid off, but in fact they have continued to charge every month. This has…

Report Overcharging Issue with Lebara 3GB MSE Exclusive Monthly Plan
I recently signed up to the above plan for £0.99. But as soon as the automatic renewal kicked in, I was charged £4.40 rather than the MSE deal price. It took me a couple of months to realise I was overcharged. I rang up and got a refund. Apparently, there is a technical glitch in their system. So do check your payment…

Dumping Sky, should I dump Lebara too - MSE Offer should have mentioned this
Sky stopped competing last year, i.e they would not price match on top of that their support has been off-shored and very rude, then both sims lost service for 2 days. All they could do was tell me to wipe my phone which I was not going to do. It is so lazy for them to just ask people to reset and wipe all their settings,…

Beware of opt-out roaming charges
Have been to India and turned off mobile data and only used my wifi. Return back after 3 weeks and have 8 ´add on’ charges (£8 each) for data totalling 65 odd pounds. Contacted EE, apparently is a opt out which I didn’t know of at all and my phone mysteriously connected to data 8 times while abroad even though I turned…

Lebara Messages not recorded in Usage History
After getting my number ported in from Tesco to Lebara I noticed my SMS messages were showing the recipient my temporary Lebara number and not my ported in number.I spoke to Lebara and they told me to turn off chats in my Samsung S23+ phone and turn back on again and the phone then verified my ported in number okay and it…

1p Mobile - Is 5G tethering allowed?
I've been tethering my laptop to a phone with a network that only gets 4G to do group video calls. It's not working well, as the speed is not really up to it. EE has introduced 5G into my area recently, so I'm thinking of switching to 1p Mobile (who use EE's signal) to see if it helps. Is anyone already with 1p Mobile and…

eSIM providers in the UK -- does Tesco and Sky support it?
Hi folks, recently I moved my phone (SIM only) contract to 3 mobile and they made a royal mess of things; I've been unable to use my number for 4 days now. Since I'm in the 14 day grace period, I would like to get out ASAP and move to a good provider. One of the reasons I used 3Mobile was because they provided an eSIM. I…
