1p Mobile - how to tell how many minutes and texts left on monthly boost?
If you sign up to a 1p Mobile monthly boost with limited calls and texts, how can you tell how many minutes and texts you have left for the month?
My online account now shows I am on a 4 GB (£6) recurring boost plan with 400 minutes and texts. I upgraded to a 4GB plan last Black Friday, when it had unlimited calls and texts. They never emailed me to tell me they were converting me to limited minutes and texts, but that it what my online account now shows. It displays my remaining data for the month, as it always did, but doesn't show remaing minutes and texts.
Does this mean they have actually left me on unlimited minutes and texts or do they really not have any way at all to let anybody check how many minutes and texts are left for the month?

You can look at your usage which will show how much you've used, so you can work out how much is left0

Are you saying that they don't summarise remaining minutes and texts clearly, like they do for data, but expect you to go through a table to add up all the minutes and seconds yourself?0

No, I'm saying "You can look at your usage which will show how much you've used, so you can work out how much is left". Which is why I wrote that.
You can look at usage per month which might help although they seem to do it by calendar month which may not tie in with your boost period. But will give an idea.

Thanks, I can see that would give a rough idea. Perhaps I was just being being naive, but I thought it was standard practice across the industry to provide an easy way to get remaining minutes, like a ussd code or text or voice message or online account display. I just assumed that since 1p had moved away from offering only unlimited packages, they might have thought of that.0

I only use boosts that give me data and I text "Balance" to 07950 014111 and it replies with how much data I have left.
Maybe that would work for a calls & text boost?1 -
Thanks, just tried that but it only gives me balance and a rounded figure for data, no minutes or texts. Also tried ringing 150, that just gives balance.0

I see what you mean, all I can suggest is that you pay an extra 50p per month and then you get 1,000 minutes rather than 400 but looking at my screenshot I'm wondering how you are paying £6 per month for 400 minutes and 4GB but maybe it's because you've been on it for ages.0

Last year 1p ran an offer from Black Friday to New Year. They still give me the data, but changed the part about unlimited minutes and texts to 400 only without informing me.0

Thanks Stompa, that's excellent lateral thinking. It's certainly worth a try. Either their live chat isn't working today or accessing it has defeated me, so I 've sent them an email on their online form as I couldn't face a long wait trying to talk to them on the phone. Never tried email before, so don't know how long that will take to get a reply.0
