Can't Find My Fuse Tariff
My Fuse tariff is "Fuse Energy August 2025 Fixed (13m) V5" which is not listed on MSE Energy. Obviously the comparison is pretty useless unless its against the correct unit rate and standing charge. It works fine on Uswitch so maybe MSE don't want my referral money any more ;)

Please help - understanding my heating / hot water system
Please can anybody help me, I’m desperate to try and understand how our heating and hot water system works, following a £500 energy bill I just received for last month :( I just moved into the house a month and a half ago. It has solar, and a hot water tank. We always seem to have piping hot water all day, so I’m worried…

New smart meter
I have ignored reminders from my provider every month when I give a new reading. I have received a letter telling me that the meter is "Aproching the end of it's working life". Can I say no to this? If not can I insist on it not being a smart meter. QUESTION: How would I know? This meter is a digital readout so I don't…

Can't find E.on "Next Secure Fixed 12m v60" on Cheap Energy Club
I've been on this since November 9th, so not a new tariff. Perhaps one of the others are equivalent? Be useful to have a live comparison so I can keep an eye on it.

EV, Heat Pump & Solar
With all the options from different providers, I am finding impossible to understand my options. I have two Pure Electric cars, 12KW Solar Panels, Battery Storage and a Air to Water Heat Pump. Issues with So Energy since smart meter installation
Hi, we have been with So energy for the last 3 or so years, our fixed contract is up come October this year. We started with EBS originally and I was mildly smug about having fixed before the big hike in prices... however..... Winter 2022-2023, we were lucky enough that the gov payouts covered our bills, with them not…

Storage Heaters
Morning all. So it's been a week since I moved into temporary housing from the council. It's a studio with separate kitchen and bathroom (in a small block of flats) which I share with my 1 year old. It is all electric and its with Utilita. Upon sign up, I was told I was to pay a heating charge of £20.40 as it had…

Best Solar Panel Installers Cheshire
I’m looking for the best solar panel installers in Cheshire. I need a south-west–facing, 35° pitched tiled roof system on a detached 4-bed property, with installers who can design around partial shading from mature trees after 3pm and integrate a 10-13kWh battery plus EV charger compatibility while handling DNO approval…

Renew now?
Hi is it wise to agree to a new fixed tariff before the April £150 reduction in costs? It would mean being without a fixed tariff for 3 months for me

Landlords that are energy resuppliers
I'm surprised at the lack of information on this. I moved in two years ago in an apartment, where all properties have sub-meters. Was told we're not allowed to switch as the energy is paid to the landlord directly. This is true; And the landlord uses Valda energy. My rates aren't too harsh, at 35.0p Kwh with a 15.0p daily…

Lack of internal communications
British Gas – very disappointing service Since 24 November, I’ve repeatedly been chased for “overdue” payments despite paying my bills on time by bank transfer, as I’ve done for years. I even contacted live chat and was told the issue was resolved — yet the payment demands continued. I then received multiple emails and…

A question before I change utilities
Will Marin Lewis's team protect us if we decide to change utility, through Cheap Energy Club? When the British Gas comparison offer was on a few weeks ago, I do believe that Martin Lewis said anybody changing to this new lowest tariff would be protected if BG had any problem with the switch? Thanks in anticipation

Switching via the Cheap Energy Club
I recently followed the MSE advice and switched from Scottish Power to British Gas via the Cheap Energy Club. My monthly bill went down from £95 to £65. But two months in, British Gas have just hiked it back up to £95! Any thoughts? Thanks.

Comms Hub Fault?
I suspect that the answer to this will be to ring the supplier and register a fault, however, thought it was worth digging a bit here first. I noticed this morning that we'd had no meter readings sent to Octopus since the early hours of Monday. The use is still showing on the daily graphs in the Octopus app, but the weekly…

We are £1326.26 in credit with our gas and electric, should we ask for it back?
Its been a cold winter so far here in England and we’ve used £681.78 this month for gas and electric, I live with 3 other people in a big 4 bedroom house which is over 150 years old, and we have the heating on all the time, my housemates opens the window if its too hot instead of turning down the heating and one housemate…
