Prepaid cards & PoA
I need to get my dad a prepaid debit card so he has some independence - I have had to activate PoA (with his agreement & bank's support) due to him falling victim multiple scams, irresponsible borrowing & inability to budget. Santandar Switching deal - really once in a lifetime deal?
Last time I had a santander account was back in 2015, I beleive it was a credit card, but it may have come with a current account. I've maxed out sole switches, can I now repeat using joint accounts?
I seem to have run out of options doing sole bank account switches, but I have a joint account with my wife. Does anyone know if that joint account would be eligible for switch incentives? *My wife has never bank tarted, she 'can't be bothered', don't know if that would make a difference.

Santander Hard Search
Hi I had an alert from Experian today that a hard search had been carried out by Santander on 31st December. I don’t have any accounts with them and as far as I can remember never have. The only thing I can think it is is fraud as I know I definitely didn’t do anything banking related on that day. Does anyone have any…

Standing order paid twice
I had a standing order paid every 3 months on the 30th of the month - so the bank paid it Friday and then randomly paid it again this morning. Spoke to the bank and they are going to recall / reverse it or something tomorrow but most concerning, didn't seem to have a clue as to why it had happened! Fortunately I had enough…

Nationwide Standing Order Query
I have a standing order of £250 every month from Nationwide to Skipton BS. I've just checked and last month's payment did not reach Skipton. This was a question asked to me this week & I didn't know the answer. Doesn't really bother…

One4All Rigmarole
This is too long-winded to put down in proper prose, so here are the bullet points instead: 1: Dublin friend sends me €200 in Xmas gift cards. 2. Can't spend in the UK so I ask One4All for a refund. 3. One4All agrees and confirms no fees would apply. 4. Takes 21 days for £142.76 to reach First Direct - £30 under exchange…
