PTSD side effect means I cannot budget and I make stupid financial decisions. As off 1530 today I have submitted my bankruptcy application. Haven’t made any…

Epson cashback promotions
I am desperate to know if anyone else is having issues getting their cashback from Epson, please. I bought a new printer in November from Argos, registered it, sent them my online receipt and put in my claim for my £20 cashback. They then informed me that I needed to resend my receipt, which I did. It is still showing on…

Woodford compensation and No Win No Fee fees
I joined the class action with Harcus Parker for redress from the Woodford catastrophe which to cut a long story short was not heard in court and instead redress was made via FCA. I received the compensation which was a small fraction of what was lost and was very surprised to receive a bill from Harcus Parker for almost…

YAHOO MAIL
Is it only me, or is Yahoo mail awful? I have a sky.com email address which uses Yahoo to fetch and send email to my laptop. When trying to compose an email there is a lag of one or two seconds between typing a character and it actually appearing onscreen. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the program and cleared the cache…

Leicester University forcing student to pay for a term's accommodation they don't need
My son is being forced by Leicester University into paying for a whole term's accommodation, as his course lectures end at the end of March, with only a few exams he'd like to travel to later on in the year. He has no need to use student accommodation after March but that they're adamant he has to pay until July. When my…

Tembo ISA to Tandem Bank ISA problems (possibly Tesco Fixed ISA)
Hello. I opened a 1 year Fixed Rate with Tandem on the basis that I was going to transfer my Tembo Easy Access ISA across. After opening the Tandem Fixed ISA I have found out that Tandem don’t accept transfers from Tembo. Tandem only transfer ISA’s from providers that use their electronic transfer process. They don’t have…

Loan before sale of house?
Hi I'm currently going through probate and will be selling the house after confirmation but there has been lengthy delays. I had hoped to sell it before July but that might not be possible now. My question is, what options are there, if any, of increasing chances of a loan once the house is up for sale? I'd be looking for…

Mettle business account fraudulent transactions
Today I received a series of notifications from my Mettle app, business account, for a series of transactions which I did not do. I clicked 'I do not authorise this transaction' and then I immediately cancelled the card, then I called the fraud number (which is the customer service number), reported the transaction and was…

Credit card transfer
I currently have an M&S credit card with a £5,500 balance that I am paying interest on. I would ideally like to do a 0% balance transfer so all payment paying down balance. Even though I have a high credit score I currently am not working as a carer for my son receiving carers allowance/UC. So thought that it may be better…

Quick PayPal tip I discovered today
I'm new to the forum so apologies if this needs to be moved to a different topic. I looked up and down the list and couldn't figure out where to put this tip/bit of helpful info. I use PayPal a lot and recently signed up for a 95p one week trial of some software. Looking through the t&c about cancellation, because I used…

Their addictive line graph has been showing up small errors this year which they are writing-off to cutover dates. But the Overview and Payment tabs on my phone illustrate errors - have a look at yours ! Anyway, they've ignored my "Accounting Error" posts but have paid my wife an additional day's interest on 3-March -…
