PC keyboard help
Hi everyone. I'm sure this is easy for someone to advise me on. Just obtained a new 'Trust' keyboard which is the bees knees but for one aspect. On my old Dell one there was a key immediately below the escape key at top left. This allowed me when wordprocessing to 'jump' a certain distance to the right along a line... I…

Buying a permanent gazebo
Has anybody installed a permanent gazebo where it is bolted into the ground. Usually made from wood or metal. Looking to create shade for the back room as it is unbearable in the heat, and that was before this week. Had looked at awnings but they were more expensive. Pros and cons. Possible suppliers. Thank you

General Discussion and Whimsical Banter
It was only a matter of time. Personally I've never minded the off-topic comments in the main threads to discuss top easy access and regular savings accounts, but I can see it's becoming a greater problem given that there just isn't a whole lot going on in the top end of the savings accounts market right now and possibly…

I want to return to my home town 280 miles away for personal/family reasons and have asked for remote working with office visits for a few days at a time. My manager is keen…

Claires accessories in administration
Hello, I'm seeking advice on how to proceed with claires accessories. I had my daughters ears pierced and after 2 weeks she developed symptoms which they recommend returning to the shop to seek advice. When in the shop they admitted the ear piercings had been put on too tight and that they'd need adjusting. They were not…

Dormant pension - should I take money out
I've got a pension I haven't being paying in to for 30 odd years. Now sitting at £38,400. I put about 5k in so I think bonuses have taken it up to that amount. It's going up about £800 per year. Should I take that money out and put it in a bank account now I'm 55?

Temporary car insurance for an 88 year old
My mum (88) and I are considering swapping cars. My car is smaller and would suit her better. Before doing this, my mum would like to try driving my car. This requires car insurance. Her car insurance doesn't have third party cover for driving another car. My car insurance won't allow addition of an 88-year-old. All the…

Mis-sold life insurance?
Hi This is a strange one, I was sold life insurance with L&G through a broker. However the broker was a friend and I felt bullied into buying it, this happened to many more ‘friends’ who since cancelled their policies. I recently realised that the policy is only for 20 years, I maybe naively thought life insurance was for…
