Churchill Estates Management Lease

Hi All

I live in a block retirement flats that has recently been taken over by Churchill Living. We have a legacy lease which I believe differs significantly from a standard Churchill living lease.

Is anyone out there able to supply me with a standard Churchill lease please?

Won't your existing lease continue as it is? I wouldn't think that the sale of your block could allow changes to it, unless you consider Churchill's superior and want to negotiate a new lease.

Different Churchill properties can have different leases.

But as mentioned above, your lease won't change.

It's also unlikely that you could get changes made to the rules (covenants) in your lease. The way leases are written generally means that all leases in the block must have the same rules (covenants). So everyone in the block would need to agree to the changes (or it could be done by a tribunal/court).

And changing leases is a big deal. You'd need to instruct a solicitor, etc.
